The Idaho School for the Deaf and the Blind is pleased to announce that a training for paraprofessional working with the visually impaired is being offered at the ISDB campus in Gooding, Idaho from June 12 through June 23.
This course is specifically designed for individuals who work with visually impaired students in a school setting. We are looking for candidates who could benefit from two weeks of intensive training in how to work with visually impaired students.
There is no charge for the workshop or room and board. This training program is being offered for 2 credits through (CSI) College Of Southern Idaho. The total cost of the 2 credits would be $64.00.
First priority will be given to individuals currently working with the blind or visually impaired. We have slots for 18 individuals. We would like to encourage applicants from all over the state, particularly rural areas to apply.
